Canine Epilepsy continues to be overlooked and underestimated. In the UK alone 1 in 130 dogs suffer from this disease and it is the most common neurological disorder in dogs. We have been working with Amy Robinson and her beautiful Dachshund Cilla for over a year to capture a glimpse into the life of an epileptic dog. We gathered lots of information so we could signpost carers to the right places. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to get the support you need from the vet, and at the level you need. Sometimes carers feel they have no alternative other than to put their epileptic dog to sleep, because they may feel overwhelmed and financially unable to support them. Our mission is to connect people and give them some helpful tips on managing canine epilepsy, as well as bring light to new initiatives. You can watch our short documentary below for free.
